Knit Picks has fantastic customer service.

Ok... the post office officially lost my package. Well, not officially because I have walked down there and all I got was three extremely rude women talking behind a wall about me as if I can't hear them. Since it has been over 14 days, I called Knit Picks. The woman I talked to was so very, very nice. A new package should be shipped out tomorrow. Hopefully I get it soon, I've read such great reviews about their yarn and I'm really anxious to try it out!

Bummer! I have always had bad luck with Knitpicks and the postoffice, I'm crossing my fingers the next package arrives and you can finally get your yarn!

So sorry to hear that your yarn went *poof!* Also sorry to hear about your crappy experience at the post office (I never know how to handle rude customer service -- it just completely flusters me). I hope this shipment of yarn finds its way to you quickly! I haven't had a ton of experience with their yarn (just Elegance and Shine Sport), but their interchangeable needle set is awesome.

Uh oh. You're making me nervous...I just sent off for my first shipment of knitpicks yarn...I hope it makes it. As for the red cabled hat, I basically re-invented it after seeing someone I knew wear it a ton...Basically cast on a number divisible by 11 that will fit your head, and join it to knit in the round. Then, *k1, p2, k6, p2, repeat. The k6 is the part that, after three rows, gets cabled.

I sincerely hope you get this shipment. I know how much you anticipate its arrival. I also hope someone from the post office in Chicago reads your blog. That was just plain rude! I can't wait to see what you make me for Christmas!!!

Knit Picks is great. Customer Service really makes a difference when choosing where to buy your yarn. I just bought two skeins of shadow. It is so nice. I can't wait to see your loot.
